Although he was a productive composer of television music for series such as The Twilight Zone (1959), Alfred Hitchcock Presents (1964-65) and Marcus Welby M.D. (1969), Rosenman had made his reputation in cinema with film scores including East Of Eden (1955), Rebel Without A Cause (1955) and The Cobweb (1955).
