An actor most familiar for western roles, Robertson starred in several films including the well regarded Sitting Bull (1954). He found greater fame still on television in the long running series Tales of Wells Fargo (1957-62) and Iron Horse (1966-68), with later appearances coming in Dynasty (1981) and Dallas (1982).
