An American actor best known for his role as Benson DuBois in a pair of sitcoms, Guillaume originated the role in Soap (1977-1980) before the character spun off to headline his own show, Benson (1979-1986). He also notably lent his distinctive voice to the role of Rafiki in The Lion King (1994).
