Born into a celebrated acting family, Redgrave won early acclaim – and BAFTA nominations – for her performances in Girl With Green Eyes (1965) and Georgy Girl (1966). Other notable work, similarly recognised, came in Shine (1996) and Gods & Monsters (1998) as well as the US television series House Calls (1979-82).
