A French cinematographer who shot films for many of the greats of French cinema and worked on a number of Merchant Ivory productions, Lhomme’s credits included Army of Shadows (1969), The Mother and the Whore (1973), Camille Claudel (1988) and Le Divorce. He was perhaps best known for his BAFTA-winning work on Cyrano de Bergerac (1990).
