Ronald Neame

23 April 1911 - 18 June 2010

Director, producer, screenwriter and cinematographer

Starting his career working for Alfred Hitchcock, Neame was later David Lean’s cinematographer on In Which We Serve (1942), This Happy Breed (1944) and Blithe Spirit (1945). A notable writer-director himself, his films include Tunes of Glory (1960), The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie (1968) and The Poseidon Adventure (1972).
