A familiar face on British television from the 1980s, Morris was a genial member of the Good Morning Britain team in ITV, hosting the breakfast television franchise from 1987 to 1992. He had wide experience in print and broadcast journalism, most recently presenting the Yorkshire Television news programme Calendar (1996-2002).
