Although film fans will acknowledge his contribution to cinema history as an executive producer on The Exorcist (1973), Marshall’s passion project was Roar (1981). This wildlife drama was shot over many years, featured a host of big cats and other exotic wild animals and starred his then wife Tippi Hedren.
