With a skill for light comedy, the affable Latimer was primarily a stage actor but also appeared in 50s television series including Dixon of Dock Green and The Adventures of Robin Hood. Film credits included Brit drama Counterspy (1953), The Gentle Trap (1960) and thriller Night Train to Paris (1964).
