A filmmaker who found his forte in comedy, Kellett directed short films such as A Home of Your Own (1965) and Futtock’s End (1970). Later works include the features Up Pompeii (1971), Our Miss Fred (1972) and big screen spin-offs of television favourites such as Are You Being Served? (1977).
