A popular former presenter of BBC Northern Ireland’s nightly news programme Scene At Six, Kellard also fronted the Belfast-hosted heats of Come Dancing. But his lasting legacy comes from his work as Head of Sport in Northern Ireland and then, from 1974, in the same role at BBC Scotland.
