A British actress known for her roles in soap operas on both sides of the Atlantic, O’Mara played Caress Morell in Dynasty (1986), and starred in The Brothers (1975-1976), Howards’ Way (1989-1990) and Crossroads (2003) in the UK. She also appeared in Doctor Who (1985-1987) and set up The British Actors’ Theatre Company in 1987 with Peter Woodward.
