The man responsible for bringing popular British programmes to a global audience, Jones worked for various ITV companies as well as Lew Grade’s ITC Entertainment. Over the years he sold the overseas rights to programmes including The Forsyte Saga, Whicker’s World, The Muppet Show, Inspector Morse, Soldier Soldier and Sharpe.
