A British character actor, Jarvis is best remembered as one of the perpetrators of The Italian Job (1969). His other films include That Kind of Girl (1963) and A Bridge Too Far (1977), with The Saint (1963), Up The Junction (1965) and Adam Adamant Lives! (1966) among his television work.
