An American director and producer who began his career as a TV actor, Frawley notably brought Kermit & co to the big screen for the first time in The Muppet Movie (1979). He won an Emmy for directing the pilot for The Monkees (1966-1968) and received further nominations for Ally McBeal (1997) and Ed (2000-2002).
