Active in various design roles in British television from the 1950s, Jackson is most closely associated with LWT’s popular series Upstairs, Downstairs (1971-75), for which her work was recognised with a BAFTA nomination. Her other television credits include Just William (1977) and the Upstairs, Downstairs spin-off Thomas & Sarah (1979).
