With his sidekick Lenny The Lion, Hall was a familiar face on British television, from The Lenny The Lion Show (1957-60), Lenny's Den (1959-61) and Pops and Lenny (1962-63). Also in demand for summer seasons and panto, he returned to TV screens with the educational series Reading With Lenny (1977-80).
