A stalwart figure in Granada’s current affairs output, Greaves worked for the company in various roles for 36 years. Arriving from print journalism, he was news editor in 1963 and later fronted such programmes as Scene At 6.30, Police File, Granada Reports (which evolved into Granada Tonight) and Reports Action.
