John Gray

From early employment as a sound recordist with the famed GPO Film Unit, Gray came full circle when he directed the Night Mail homage West Highland (1960). He joined BBC radio in 1940, and remained with the corporation for 38 years, eventually overseeing radio arts and features at BBC Scotland.
