Two television shows stand out on the CV of Friendly, who could justifiably lay claim to have produced a pair of iconic American programmes. Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In (1968-1973) was a freewheeling rapid fire sketch show, while Little House On The Prairie (1974-1983) proved a much loved family favourite.
