An intense British actor on stage and screen, Finch played memorable leads in Roman Polanski’s Macbeth (1971), Alfred Hitchcock’s Frenzy (1972) and the BBC's Henry IV Part I and II (1979), which he followed with supporting performances in Lady Caroline Lamb (1973) and Death On The Nile (1978). More recently he appeared in Ridley Scott’s Kingdom of Heaven (2005).
