A director associated with comedy, Edwards directed The Pink Panther (1963) and sequels beginning with A Shot In The Dark (1964). He also enjoyed success with such films as Breakfast At Tiffany’s (1961) and Days of Wines & Roses (1962), with later work including 10 (1979) and Victor, Victoria (1982).
