A former head of Airtime Sales and Presentation at Anglia Television, Davies worked widely in domestic television and was similarly involved in programme distribution at Thames for such audience favourites as The Benny Hill Show and Rumpole of the Bailey. He went on to fulfil similar duties for BBC Enterprises.
