An Australian writer and presenter who emigrated to London at the age of 22 and became one of the city’s most influential critics, James went on to front programmes such as Clive James on Television (1982-1997) and Saturday Night Clive (1989-1990). He received a Special award from BAFTA in 2015 in recognition of his incredible talent.
