A British television and radio broadcaster best known for presenting around 1800 episodes of the Tonight (1957-1965), the show was Britain’s first nightly programme to blend news and light entertainment. Michelmore went on to present 24 Hours (1965-1968) alongside Kenneth Allsop and segments for the BBC’s Holiday (1969-1986).
