An Australian actor who found early success in Britain, Barrett voiced Commander Shore in Stingray (1963-64), John Tracy in Thunderbirds (1965-66), and played the lead in the television drama The Troubleshooters (1965-72). He also starred in such features as Don’s Party (1975) and The Chant of Jimmie Blacksmith (1978).
