It was a stellar year in 2013 for the BAFTA Rocliffe New Writing Forum, and so far 2014 has followed suit. 2013 saw over 1000 scripts submitted across television, film and sitcom, resulting in 700 script feedback reports, 30 meetings for entrants with literary agents and nine writers signed. Industry panelists giving feedback at 2013 events included Greg DanielsJohn BishopSue Perkins, Ben StephensonAndy Harries and Michael Kuhn.

Aisling Corristine‘s success with Reuben the Hood lead to meetings with a variety of industry producers, including Kudos, and a stream of interest from literary agents. Her script has since been optioned by Ivan McMahon of Two Hungry Fish Productions and is currently in development.

Off the back of her TV script, InconceivableRomilly Masters had several meetings with Kudos and Company Pictures and was signed by Casarotto Ramsay & Associates.

Following their comedy script, The Sickness, writing partners Andrew Hubert and Ryan Cull have been working on a project with Objective Productions and are in the process of pitching for commissions. Ryan Cull has been signed to Independent Talent and has written shorts and sketches for BAFTA-nominated DNN and Diddy Movies starring Dick and Dom.

Vivienne Allen (Only the Stars are Dancing), Paul Water (Black Dog) and Louis Paxton (The Spare Room) have received requests for full episodes of their scripts from producers including Company Pictures, Left Bank and Channel 4.
