In 2012 John Hurt was recognised at the Orange British Academy Film Awards for a lifetime of Outstanding British Contribution to Cinema.
To celebrate the honour, BAFTA’s Official Menswear Stylist; Hackett London hosted a lunch for Hurt and guests. The lunch was held at Savoy London with guests such as Terry Gilliam, Alan Parker and Stephen Frears in attendance. Photography from BAFTA’s Archive and of Hurt set are also displayed in this gallery, in recognition of his extraordinary career in film.
