Vuk’s breakthrough credit is the feature film Mutt
Born in New York City, Vuk Lungulov-Klotz is a Chilean-Serbian filmmaker raised between Chile, New York, and Serbia. He is an alum of the Sundance Institute Labs, the Tribeca Film Institute, and the Ryan Murphy HALF Initiative Program. As a transgender storyteller, he hopes to expand queer narratives and break down perceived differences. Aside from writing and directing, Vuk is also proud to have eight years of experience as a key grip in the indie New York film scene.
Vuk’s made his debut with the award-winning feature film, Mutt. Mutt premiered in competition at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival (where it won a Special Jury Prize Award), had its international premier at the Berlinale Film Festival, and was the closing night film at the New Directors / New Films Festival. Mutt is a sincere and heart-warming portrait of what it means to live life in between as we watch Feña, a Chilean-American trans man in his 20s, reconnect with three important people from his past.
