Sang Wee is a British-Korean filmmaker who is awarded the Pigott-BAFTA scholarship. A graduate of the University of Cambridge in Architecture, he went on to work at the Korean Cultural Centre in London before moving to LA to pursue an MFA in Film & Television Production at USC’s School of Cinematic Arts.
He explores diaspora narratives that focus not just on where people are from, but on how they hold themselves together and create belonging through routine, compromise, and care.
