Rosemary Leith is a Canadian born businesswoman and director. She co-founded the World Wide Web Foundation with Sir Tim Berners-Lee in 2009. A veteran of finance, deep tech and digital media, she serves as a Non-Executive Director on both the board of Proton AG and Intermediate Capital Group plc where she is Chair of the Risk Committee. She serves as Senior Advisor to the Oxford Ellison Institute in AI research, SandboxAQ and NY based Motive Partners. Active in the Arts for over two decades she was until 2024 a Trustee of the National Gallery where she chaired the Digital Advisory Board, Trustee of the Almeida Theatre, and Advisor to the Rector of University of the Arts. In 2025 she joined as a BAFTA Trustee where her focus will be on Technology and Innovation.
