Chrystal Holder, born in South-East London, is awarded the Prince William BAFTA Scholarship to support her postgraduate studies in Production Management at the National Film and Television School. Her passion for media was sparked in her early teens at school, leading her to develop a deep curiosity about how creative content is produced for global audiences. This interest propelled her to graduate from Anglia Ruskin University with a BA (Hons) in Film and Media Studies.

“I am incredibly humbled and honoured to have been awarded the Prince William scholarship, which will allow me to continue developing my professional skills and knowledge at the NFTS. I look forward to joining the school and meeting my mentor, as well as having the opportunity to collaborate and learn from other talented individuals. I aim to be an inclusive and empathetic leader and hope to give back to the industry by continuing to help and support others in the near future.”

Chrystal began her career in television as a trainee researcher for Licklemor Productions, contributing to the production of music segments for the arts, culture, and lifestyle show Unmuted (Sky Arts). Her time at Comic Relief saw her supporting the Content Team with all key aspects of production and post-production for Red Nose Day campaigns. Most recently, she served as a Scripted Production Coordinator at Sky Studios, where she worked across a variety of in-house productions such as Christmas Carole, Mr Bigstuff, and Bad Tidings.
