Angela Walker Patton is a champion for Black girls and the founder and CEO of Girls For A Change, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preparing Black girls for the world and the world for Black girls. As the founder, Angela has been a trailblazer in uplifting Black girls and other girls of color. She continues to make a lasting impact as a TED speaker, author, and recipient of numerous honors, including the White House Champion of Change, the World of Difference Award, Top 40 Under 40, and recognition by The International Alliance for Women in the Non-Profit category.

Angela is the co-director and executive producer of the award-winning documentary Daughters, which premiered at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival and won two prestigious awards: the Audience Award for U.S. Documentary and the Festival Favorite Award. Daughters is now streaming on Netflix.
