Winners' acceptance speech on behalf of the production team for Cruising with Jane McDonald in the Features category
JANE MCDONALD: I have even had this written for me because I thought there's no way we're winning that. Wow. It even says "wow" on here.
Wow. Thanks to the British Academy and congratulations to the other nominees. It's very humbling to have won but I feel we're all winners. Every one of us in here are winners tonight, aren't we? My heart is going so fast. I can't believe it. Thank you also to all our wonderful viewers who watch it and have made this show such a hit. I thank you and I'm so grateful.
Firstly, I would like to thank Channel 5 ‑ Channel 5, you go ‑ for commissioning this series. Ben Frow and Greg Barnett. It was your vision and your support that made this all a reality, and this award is a testament to your channel's evolution and I'm proud to be a part of this, I really am.
I started this amazing journey with a fantastic team. Fi Cotter Craig, Jon Cowen, James Peters and Beren Money. Thank you so, so much.
But the adventure continues with a fabulous new team as well, Mark Powell, Tim Marckwald, Ray Eastman, David Kirkham, Chris Agathangelou. Thank you, Chris. What would we do without you?
