Acceptance speech by James W Griffiths and Sophie Venner, winners of the Short Film category for Room 8 at the EE Britsh Academy Film Awards in 2014.
JAMES W GRIFFITHS: Thank you. Thank you very much. Not in a million years did we ever imagine when we were making this that we would be nominated for a BAFTA. It is absolutely fantastic, but to win against the other short films we were up against, they were all fantastic and any one of them could have won. I urge you all to go out and watch them because they are all very, very good.
We want to thank the people that helped us make it, because we would not be standing here without them. Tom Cullen and Michael Gould, our fantastic actors. Magni Ágústsson, Peter Francis. -- Sorry, I am going to forget some names, I am sure I am. Leonard Bush, Martin Pavey and Michael Aaglund. Also Geoffrey Fletcher and also Bombay Sapphire who gave us the money to make this in the first place.
