A. I'm wearing Karl Lagerfeld with a Lanvin bow tie.
Q. You think that --
A. I know that it's Karl Lagerfeld and yeah I went to a place and -- because if you wear the same thing people would notice and they'd complain.
Q. Which is odd when you're a guy I think.
A. I know.
Q. Because it's essentially the same outfit isn't it?
A. So I went to a place and I borrowed something especially.
Q. Your citation reading tonight, what award are you giving?
A. I'm giving out best adapted screenplay with Jennifer Garner, Mrs Affleck.
Q. That's a nice little gig to have.
A. Yeah, she chose me and I think it's going to be -- it's a tough one. Everyone in that category is a humdinger so I don't know who is going to win.
Q. Up next for you Star Trek?
A. Star Trek out in May and then World's End out in August.
Q. Are you still filming World's End?
A. We've finished principal photography and it's now in the edit and it's all coming together and looking rather splendid. I'm very excited about it.
Q. How cool to say words like principal photography.
A. It makes me feel important, I want to look like I know what I'm talking about.
Q. It's one of those things they say to you and you go "That's banked".
A. I just heard it a couple of times and now I say it every now and then.
