In partnership with Netflix, BAFTA announces inaugural cohort

• Dramatic expansion of learning and talent development programme to launch in 2022
• The redevelopment of 195 Piccadilly will provide the increased space and state of the art technology to enable the expanded programme
• The redevelopment has been generously supported by film, games and television industries, individual philanthropists and trusts & foundations, including Dolby, The Shaw Foundation Hong Kong and Netflix 

Jurors for 2021 include Anupam Kher, Mira Nair, Monika Shergill and Siddharth Roy Kapur among others

Young people encouraged to ‘Express Yourself’ in series of activities launched today by BAFTA, Place2Be and Oak National Academy, including:

• Jodie Whittaker kicks-off the week with national virtual school assembly
• Strictly’s Oti Mabuse, Rocks Actress Bukky Bukray and YouTuber Nikki Lilly lead free online sessions in Acting, Art, Creating Content, Dance and Writing
• Nationwide search for ‘BAFTA Young Presenter’ begins
