The full list of key dates for next year’s Virgin TV British Academy Television Awards and British Academy Television Craft Awards and the updated Rules and Guidelines for 2019 have been announced.
The British Academy Television Craft Awards will take place on Sunday 28 April 2019, followed by the Virgin TV British Academy Television Awards on Sunday 12 May whose nominations will be announced live at BAFTA 195 Piccadilly on Thursday 28 March.
The awards are presented annually to recognise and honour individuals for outstanding achievement in television, celebrating the very best programmes, performances and behind-the-scenes talent.

Monday 8 October – Entries open for Television Awards and Television Craft Awards
Friday 30 November – First stage entry for Television Awards and Television Craft Awards closes for all programmes broadcast up to 30 November
Thursday 3 January – Final deadline for all entries
Wednesday 28 March – Television Awards Nominations announced
Thursday 25 April – Television and Television Craft Nominees Party
Sunday 28 April – British Academy Television Craft Awards
Sunday 12 May – Virgin TV British Academy Television Awards
