BABAK ANVARI: Wow. Oh, breathing now.
This is such an honour. It is magnificent. It is a great honour to be in such an auspicious category, you know, with all the great talented debut filmmakers and – sorry, I know we don’t have much time, so on behalf of my producers and I, would like to thank – I did write a little speech, just not to mess up.
We would like to thank the brilliant cast members, especially our leads, Narges Rashidi, Avin Manshadi, our great crew, both here in the UK and in Jordan; the Royal Film Commission of Jordan, and everyone who helped us bring this film to life.
And I would personally like to thank my amazing producers, Wigwam Films, for taking a risk on this strange Farsi language film, and my great cinematographer and great friend, Kit Fraser, who was on board this project from day one, had my back. My family, my mum, my brother, and my wonderful, wonderful girlfriend Rhiannon for her non-stop love and support. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
