Interviewer: Zoe Ball.
Q. And Fin of course from Star Wars. How much has your life changed in the last couple of years?
A. Do you know what’s so weird? I don’t know — it has changed, it has changed but I still have the separation between the Star Wars world and home so I guess I’m lucky for now.
Q. That’s healthy.
A. Yeah, it’s a healthy balance right now.
Q. Can you go unnoticed if you’re out in town?
A. I went to Waitrose this morning and bought a Belgian bun and no one bothered me, it was fantastic.
Q. A fine class of supermarket.
A. Absolutely.
Q. What can you tell us about Episode VIII, I imagine not very much but how excited are you, have you started shooting?
A. I start tomorrow.
Q. Really? So you’ve got to be fresh faced.
A. I’ve got a 6 am pick-up tomorrow.
Q. Oh. How is your new Director?
A. Ryan has been my heart already. He is fantastic in it and he definitely deserves to take the helm after the great JJ Abrams.
Q. I would be terrified if I was him. Of course it’s up for many nominations, Special Visual Effects tonight. Would you like to see all the guys you work with pick up some awards?
A. Absolutely and I would like to see John Williams pick up the award tonight so I’m definitely excited. Let’s get one for “The Force Awakens”.
Q. Let’s quickly mention “Major Laser” because it is an incredible television show if you haven’t seen it yet you have to check it out.
A. Yes, you have to check it out, it is incredible, black market.
Q. That’s an amazing suit too.
