The performance will form part of Britain’s biggest night in film, set to air on Sunday 22 February 2026 on BBC One and iPlayer
BAFTA today announces that award-winning British singer-songwriter Jessie Ware will take to the stage at the 2026 EE BAFTA Film Awards to perform a special tribute during the ceremony’s In Memoriam. This is a moment in the ceremony to reflect and remember the committed and passionate individuals who worked in the film industry who have passed away in the last year.
British-born Ware will bring her unique, incredible voice to the BAFTA stage. Her performance will precede the release of her latest album ‘Superbloom’ – the crescendo of her latest era – on 10th April via Island EMI Record which features her recent single ‘I Could Get Used to This.’
Jessie Ware said: “It is a great honour to be performing at the BAFTAs in such an important and special moment to remember people & legends that have passed this year. I’m singing a song from one of my favourite movies by one of my favourite artists and really cannot wait to be on stage in amongst a room of such talented individuals.”
Ware’s latest music arrives almost three years after her critically acclaimed ‘That! Feels Good!’, which debuted at No. 3 on the Official UK Albums Chart and marked her highest-ever entry on the US Top Album Sales chart. The album was widely praised by The Guardian, Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, NME, USA Today and more, and cemented Ware’s position as one of the most vital voices in contemporary pop.

This follows the announcement that JAE, AUDREY NUNA & REI AMI, the singing voices of HUNTR/X from the global phenomenon KPop Demon Hunters, will perform their chart-topping hit “Golden” from the film’s record-breaking soundtrack, delivering their first international performance together at the 2026 EE BAFTA Film Awards.
The 2026 EE BAFTA Film Awards ceremony will be hosted by Alan Cumming on Sunday 22 February, and will be broadcast on BBC One and iPlayer from 7pm in the UK. The ceremony will be broadcast in the US on E! at 8pm ET as well as a host of further international broadcasters to be announced. Viewers will also be able to find all the essential action from the red carpet, ceremony and beyond across BAFTA’s socials.
