- Powerhouse Jessie J to perform ‘The Award Goes To’ as first TV performance in six years
- Multi-platinum popstar Tom Grennan to play brand new track ‘Full Attention’
BAFTA today confirms that global music stars Jessie J and Tom Grennan will perform live at the 2025 BAFTA Television Awards with P&O Cruises at the Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall. Both performances will air during the awards ceremony on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on Sunday 11 May at 7pm.
In two exclusive performances, BRIT Award-winning and Grammy-nominated powerhouse Jessie J will deliver her first TV performance in six years, the very aptly titled ‘The Award Goes To’, while chart-topping singer-songwriter Tom Grennan will perform a TV exclusive of his brand-new track ‘Full Attention’.
With over 20 million records sold worldwide, megastar Jessie J is known for her seismic vocals, confessional lyrics, empowering attitude, dynamic stage presence, genre-blending music and wickedly sharp sense of humour.
Hot off the heels of just releasing her new track ‘No Secrets’ on 25 April and having already built huge momentum online, Jessie J’s first TV performance of ‘The Award Goes To’ is highly anticipated, set to be a peak Jessie J stop-the-clocks power ballad moment.
The line-up also confirms one of the UK’s most exciting and accomplished artists, Tom Grennan. With two Number One albums, a stack of BRIT and Ivor Novello nominations, and an MTV Award for Best UK Act, Tom has built a reputation for anthemic songwriting and unforgettable live performances.
The multi-platinum-selling artist is set to give a TV exclusive performance of his highly anticipated new single, ‘Full Attention’ during the award show, after its official release digitally on 9 May. The song is an effervescent meld of euphoric piano chords, Balearic grooves and stirring, soulful vocals, capturing one of the UK’s biggest solo stars at his enchanting, feelgood best.
In addition, BAFTA has confirmed award-winning concert violinist and social media sensation Esther Abrami will be performing ‘Apple Tree’ for the In Memoriam tribute.
Born in France, Esther Abrami is a musician and trailblazer, inspiring young women and girls worldwide. With her dazzling talent, infectious personality and boundless enthusiasm, she travels the world, performing her music to an ever-growing global audience.
Speaking about the performance, Jessie J said: “I haven’t sung on British television in years. What a way to come back, it’s an honour. But who will the award go to, that’s the question.”
Speaking about the performance, Tom Grennan said: “It’s a real honour to have been invited by such a prestigious event as BAFTA to perform in front of so many esteemed actors and creatives.”
Emma Baehr, Executive Director of Awards and Content at BAFTA, said: “We’re thrilled to have the phenomenally talented Jessie J and Tom Grennan joining us at this year’s BAFTA Television Awards with P&O Cruises on Sunday. With Jessie J debuting her brand-new power ballad and Tom Grennan bringing his momentous energy, as well as exceptional violinist Esther Abrami performing a touching musical tribute during the In Memoriam, all three performances are sure to capture the spirit of the evening – reflecting the way television stirs emotions, tells unforgettable stories, and brings us all together in celebration of creativity. We can’t wait to share these moments with our guests in the room and audiences at home, on what promises to be a truly fantastic evening showcasing the very best of British television.”
The BAFTA Television Awards with P&O Cruises are the biggest night in the television calendar, recognising the incredible quality and variety of television that was enjoyed in 2024, with shows such as Baby Reindeer, Mr Bates vs The Post Office, Rivals, Slow Horses, Life and Death in Gaza (Storyville) and Say Nothing leading the nominations. This year’s shortlist were announced on 27 March and can be found here.
