BEN AFFLECK:  Thank you, thank you so much.  I will try to be brief, everyone here has been so eloquent and impressive and brief.

I just — I have to thank a few people, I have to thank Warner Brothers who were brilliant, who supported me, Sue and Veronica and Jeff, I remember their names in part because they are sitting right there.  No, they are extraordinary and they did amazing things.  And Graham King and the two greatest producers in the world, who are film makers and who used their cache to make great films, and — stood by me, who were George Clooney and Grant Hersolv, they’re really spectacular guys.

Chris Terrio wrote the script.  It is a masterful script, it will always be my favourite script.  I owe you everything.  William Goldberg, you said such nice things to me from up here; I have nothing equally moving or nice to say except that I love you.

My wife, uh … I also love you!  Very much.  And I love our children Violet, Sera and Sam very, very much, although I am quite sure they are asleep by now.

Everybody who worked on the movie, everybody who this movie is about, all the international people, from the — from the Persians to the Turks, to the people in north America, who came together and made this movie a wonderful international movie, I want to thank.

And I want to say, this is a second act for me, and you have given me that.  This industry has given me that.  And I want to thank you, and I am so grateful and proud, and so I just want to dedicate this to anyone else out there who is trying to get their second act because you can do it.

Thank you very much.
