Glasgow, 2 November 2021: BAFTA Scotland has today announced the line-up for The Scotland Sessions in partnership with Screen Scotland, an event-series celebrating some of the nominees from the BAFTA Scotland Awards 2021.
The series will be held online from 8-11 November, in the run up to the 2021 BAFTA Scotland Awards ceremony on the 20 November at 16.30 GMT on BAFTA Scotland’s social channels.
For a second year, BAFTA Scotland will hold these sessions online, allowing them to reach a global audience of BAFTA members, career starters, the next generation of talent, and film, games and TV fans. Panels of nominees and industry experts will offer an insight into their craft and the nominated programmes and films they have worked on including Limbo, Murder Mystery Machine; Perfect 10, Poly Styrene: I Am Cliché; Run and more.
The Scotland Sessions offer audiences an exclusive behind the scenes look at the making of some of Scotland’s best films, games and TV this year. Free and open to the public, The Scotland Sessions allow audiences to delve into the world of their favourite Scottish films, games and TV shows. Guest speakers are invited to discuss their work and members of the audience will have an opportunity to ask questions.

The BAFTA Scotland Awards will be presented at a digital ceremony on Saturday 20 November. Edith Bowman will host the socially distant, closed-studio show at BBC Pacific Quay alongside Sanjeev Kohli and other guest presenters. Backstage coverage will begin at 16.00 GMT with the ceremony live streamed from 16.30 GMT on BAFTA’s Facebook and YouTube channels and followed by a highlights show on BBC Scotland at 22.00 GMT.
