The TV Tea will take place on September 14th at The Maybourne Beverly Hills and will celebrate those recognized at BAFTA’s Television Awards and salute the television industry at large. The event will also raise awareness for BAFTA North America’s Learning, Inclusion and Talent programs, which provide industry-leading mentoring, education, and financial aid for local communities, underserved students, and emerging artists. Past event attendees have included everyone from Jodie Comer and RuPaul to Fiona Shaw, Michael Douglas and Ava DuVernay.
“We are delighted to bring back the TV Tea Party, which has always been a highlight for our community. We look forward to celebrating the crossover success of BAFTA TV Award talent with U.S. audiences and reinforcing our commitment to inspiring and uplifting the TV industry,” said Joyce Pierpoline, Chair of BAFTA North America. “The addition of the New York Tea marks an exciting new chapter for us as we continue to expand our work and presence, and cultivate our community.”
