Today, BAFTA Cymru unveils the attending nominees and guest presenters for the 2024 BAFTA Cymru Awards this Sunday 20 October. The BAFTA Cymru Awards will be hosted by BBC Radio 2’s Owain Wyn Evans for the first time and will be live streamed from theInternational Convention Centre Wales (ICC Wales) in Newport.
Sion Daniel Young, who has been nominated for Slow Horses, is also presenting an award. Actor nominees Philip Glenister (Steeltown Murders) and Rhodri Meilir (Pren ar y Bryn) will also attend.
Actresses Aimee-Ffion Edwards (Dreamland), Alexandra Roach (Men Up), Annes Elwy (Bariau) and Nia Roberts (Pren ar y Bryn) will all be at the red carpet event.
Host Owain Wyn Evans said: “I am so excited to be hosting this year’s BAFTA Cymru Awards. I’ve attended the Awards on many occasions and am always blown away by the amazing talent we have here in Wales and the world-class productions that happen here. BAFTA Cymru is a huge night for film and television in Wales and it will be a real joy to celebrate all those nominated on Sunday.”
