BAFTA has today unveiled the stars set to grace the iconic red carpet this Sunday for the BAFTA Television Awards with P&O Cruises, the premiere event in the UK television calendar. Hosted by Alan Cumming, the ceremony held at the Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall will be broadcast at 7pm BST on Sunday 11 May on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
Ahead of the main event, it has been confirmed that fans can catch all the excitement live from the red carpet with comedians Suzi Ruffell and Tom Allen, streaming on BAFTA’s YouTube. Presenter Charley Marlowe is confirmed as BAFTA’s TikTok host, and Hits Radio presenter Will Best will be the official red-carpet DJ, bringing the party to guests as they arrive.
Celebrating the best in television from 2024, this year’s awards spotlight the exceptional quality and diversity of British TV. Leading the nominations are standout programmes including Baby Reindeer, Mr Bates vs The Post Office, Rivals, Slow Horses, Life and Death in Gaza (Storyville), and Say Nothing. As previously announced, Kirsty Wark and ITV (for Mr Bates vs The Post Office) will be honoured on the night with the BAFTA Fellowship and the BAFTA Television Special Award, respectively.

As announced this week, this year’s ceremony will feature two exclusive music performances from global megastars Jessie J and Tom Grennan, as well as award-winning concert violinist and social media sensation Esther Abrami for the In Memoriam tribute. In her first TV performance in six years, Jessie J will perform ‘The Award Goes To’ and as a UK TV exclusive, Tom Grennan will debut his highly anticipated track ‘Full Attention’.
For audiences outside of the UK, the BAFTA Television Awards with P&O Cruises and Red Carpet ceremony will be available on BritBox on demand in the U.S., Canada, Australia, and the Nordics. It will also be available in Australia on Foxtel, in New Zealand on Sky Arts (NZ), in 24 countries across Africa and the Middle East on AlThaqafeya and MBC Channels, as well as 13 countries across Asia on Rewind Networks and on seven ships within the P&O Cruises fleet.
