BAFTA today is excited to announce that the legendary British music icons Take That will take the stage at the upcoming 2025 EE BAFTA Film Awards, performing their number one single ‘Greatest Day’, which features in the BAFTA-nominated film Anora.

Known for their electrifying live shows and timeless appeal, Take That will bring their signature energy and charisma to the ceremony, creating a highlight of the evening. Their appearance promises to be an unforgettable moment, whether you’re a long-time fan or new to their music, this is an experience you won’t want to miss.

Jeff Goldblum will bring his unique touch to the stage, performing on the piano during the In Memoriam. Goldblum’s soulful style will provide a moving and personal tribute.

Earlier this year, Jeff Goldblum delighted audiences as The Wizard of Oz in the BAFTA-nominated film Wicked, which smashed records for the biggest ever box office for a Broadway musical adaptation.

When not acting, Jeff Goldblum has a dedicated following of his jazz band, the Mildred Snitzer Orchestra. Their upcoming album, “Still Blooming,” is scheduled to be released on April 25, 2025.

As the UK’s most prestigious film event, the 2025 EE BAFTA Film Awards, hosted by the multi-talented award-winning David Tennant, will take place on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at the Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall in London. Both live performances during the ceremony will offer viewers at home an incredible night of entertainment.

The 2025 EE BAFTA Film Awards will be broadcast on BBC One and iPlayer in the UK, it will stream on BritBox International in North America, and available on demand on BritBox in the Nordics and Australia. The awards will also be available on a number of other broadcasters internationally. Follow the action via #EEBAFTAs.

ABOUT TAKE THAT

Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen are Take That in 2025 and continue the legacy of one of the most successful bands in British chart history, with over 45 million records sold worldwide and 12 No.1 hits in the UK.

Formed as a five-piece in 1989, they enjoyed immediate success with their first two albums charting at No.2 & No.1 respectively. Third album Nobody Else confirmed their global domination, selling over six million copies and topping the charts in 11 countries. The departure of band member Robbie Williams prompted a break-up in 1996 and nine years in the wilderness before the remaining four members reunited for 2005’s The Ultimate Tour. This sparked one of the greatest comebacks in British music history with Take That going on to release three number 1 albums in just four years. Robbie’s return for 2011’s Progress saw them break UK records for the fastest-selling album of the 21st century and fastest-selling tour of all time. Williams’ second departure, along with that of Jason Orange, left the remaining three members to release III and 2017’s Wonderland, which were certified platinum and gold respectively.

The band celebrated their 30th anniversary with the release of Odyssey in 2018, a greatest hits album of beautifully re-imagined versions of some of the biggest tracks from their three-decade-spanning career. The album entered the charts at number 1 and was closely followed by a critically acclaimed UK and European stadium and arena tour in 2019.

With the release of their 9th studio album, This Life in 2023, the band scored their ninth No.1 album and the biggest-selling album from a UK artist that year, outselling the entire Top 25 combined. In April 2024, Take That hit the road again with their huge This Life On Tour, which saw them sell over 700,000 tickets across 41 dates in 15 cities in the UK, making it the biggest-selling tour for a UK artist that year.
