An Austro-Hungarian actress who became a celebrity icon of 1950s Hollywood, Gabor took up acting after her marriage to George Sanders in 1949. Her most memorable roles came in Moulin Rouge (1952), Lili (1953), 3 Ring Circus (1954) and Death of a Scoundrel (1956), before many later-life acting appearances as herself.
