Wynn Chamberlain

Director
19 May 1927 to 27 November 2014

An American painter and novelist, Chamberlain was a modernist artist at the centre of Manhattan’s thriving ‘60s cultural scene before moving to India where he penned three novels. He wrote, directed, edited and produced his sole film credit, Brand X (1970), an acclaimed parody of commercial television which disappeared from screens for 40 years.
